VividLite™ traffic signs illuminate the legend, symbol, or selected areas of the sign face to improve nighttime visibility.
Internal illumination can also be combined with perimeter flashing LEDs for additional driver awareness.
Available for STOP, Wrong Way, Do Not Enter, and other standard or custom traffic sign applications.

Internal Illumination
The legend, symbol, or selected areas of the sign face are internally illuminated for enhanced nighttime visibility.
Example: The STOP legend itself can illuminate.
Perimeter LED Flashing
High-visibility LEDs around the sign perimeter provide active flashing emphasis to attract driver attention.
Illumination + Flashing
Internal illumination and perimeter LED flashing can be combined in the same sign for enhanced visibility and active warning.
Different Modes for Day and Night
VividLite™ signs can be configured to operate differently during daytime and nighttime conditions.
For example:
Daytime: Perimeter LEDs flash for active warning.
Nighttime: The sign legend or symbol is internally illuminated, with optional perimeter LED flashing.
Photocell-controlled and other custom operating modes are available based on project requirements.
Choose How the Sign Activates
Operating modes can be configured based on the sign type and project requirements.
VividLite™ illuminated traffic signs can be configured with different activation methods based on the application.
Photocell Activated
Automatically activates from dusk to dawn, with the illuminated legend or symbol flashing during nighttime operation.
Push-Button Activated
The illuminated warning is activated when the push button is pressed and can flash for approximately 25–60 seconds, depending on the selected setting.
Radar Activated
An approaching vehicle can automatically trigger the illuminated sign to flash for approximately 15–60 seconds. Detection and activation settings can be configured based on project requirements.
Custom activation timing and operating modes are available.

Flexible Power Options
VividLite™ illuminated traffic signs are available with AC-powered or solar-powered configurations. The recommended operating mode may vary depending on the available power source and project requirements.
AC-Powered
Where utility power is available, the internally illuminated legend or symbol can be configured for continuous nighttime illumination or flashing operation.
Custom day/night operating modes are also available.
Solar-Powered
Solar-powered configurations are available for locations where utility power is unavailable or impractical.
Because internal illumination requires more energy than perimeter LED flashing alone, flashing internal illumination is generally recommended for nighttime solar-powered operation to help reduce power consumption.
Solar panel and battery capacity can be customized based on sign size, illumination area, operating time, activation method, and site conditions.
